When you select files in a shared space, they become the context for your request. AI operates only on selected files, not your entire shared space or general knowledge. AI can:

  • Extract structured information
  • Generate captions and descriptions

Shared Space Context

AI understands the shared space as a shared knowledge base. All team members can use AI on files they have access to, and AI responses are scoped to shared space content. Permissions determine what files you can use with AI. See Permissions & Roles for details.
